Katie, a friend, Floyd, Emily and her husband, Autumn?, and I'm not sure! Lately, the best part about blogging has been finding people that you haven't seen or heard from in a long time. I was on my blog the other day, reading my comments, and Nichole Willard told me that she was friends with the Waldrons when they all lived in Riverside. I couldn't believe it! So I got on Nichole's blog, checked out her list of people and found an "Emily, Amber, Katie, Brandon, Derek, and Casey" and knew I had found our long lost friends, the Waldrons. For those of you who don't know, we lived in Costa Mesa, California with them when Floyd was the bishop and Kevin was his counselor. Karen was one of my good buddies, we even met up with their family in Nevada after we all moved away. My favorite memory of Karen is that she always told me that she wanted 14 kids, like my Uncle Floyd and Aunt Alice. I can't wait to catch up with that wonderful family. Blogging is the best!!

Slacklining Fever!
I "taught" Cam how to slackline over the weekend.
He rocked it for a first-timer! We had a lot of fun and laughs.
Mother wanted me to share the pics with everybody, so check us out!
Last night we celebrated Brockton's 20 birthday with their family. We went to Inside Scoop for dinner and then back to their house for cake and ice cream. He got the Book of Mormon on CD, a couple seasons of TV shows, some headphones, and a John Bytheway book on CD. The best part of his birthday was actually the next day, (Feb. 7) because his mission call came in the mail. He is going to the London, England South mission and reports on May 16th directly to the Preston, England MTC. His mission call was signed by President Thomas S. Monson. Cool, huh? His could have been one of the very first calls signed by our new prophet. We are all excited for Brock!
Kevin keeps himself busy doing residential appraisals and Clark County Fair business during the day. He serves as the bishop of our ward, and probably has another four years left. Kevin likes to watch a good movie, read a good book, and take his wife out to lunch. He is an avid BYU, Boston Celtics, and Red Sox fan, and takes every chance he has to visit his kids and grandkids.
Vicki
Life has definitely slowed down for Vicki since the kids have all gone, but she still stays busy working in the temple on Thursdays, walking every morning, and keeping Kevin company during the day. She enjoys trying a new recipe, quilting when she has time, and reading a good book every now and then. A highlight is when she gets to get in the car and go to Arizona or Utah to visit the kids and grandkids. She likes long weekends, taking road trips, and cool weather.
Connie & Peter
Connie and Peter have been married for 12 years now and have 4 beautiful little kids, Jonah, Eden, Levi, and Everly. They live in Mesa, Arizona where Peter works for Wells Fargo Bank and Connie stays home with the children. Connie continues on with her education, and is taking classes through BYU-I's home study program. They are wonderful parents, have lots of friends, and come to Logandale when the county fair comes to town and whenever else they get the chance.
Kira
Kira is living in Salt Lake City and working at Professional Christmas Lights, a hanging company, where she oversees all of the calendaring. She loves Utah, loves her boyfriend Vance, loves the warmer weather for outdoor activities, and calls every once in a while to let us know that she is still alive. She is the queen of road trips and "gets lost" for weeks on end with Vance whenever she can. Kira is the designated "gypsy" of the family.
Lexie & Sharrid
Lexie and Sharrid have been married for 10 years, and have four cute boys now. They live in Provo, Utah where Sharrid is working at the hospital, and Lexie gets to stay home with the boys while she works on her first novel. They have a cute home just south of campus where Marce and Phoenix can walk to and from school. They go visit grandpa, Jeff, and Lisa often, and love the convenience of close shopping. Sharrid is always a hit wherever they go, as he is 6'8" with a 5'3" wife!
Michaela & Tommy
Michaela and Tommy have been married for three years now and are living in San Diego, where Tommy works the southern California region of the family business, and she continues her studies. She spends most of her time taking care of little Forrest, and building her calligraphy/custom lettering business. They are a very handsome couple and have quite a few friends. We are lucky to see them often, as they are becoming quite the travelers.
Tibi
Tibi finished serving her 18 month mission for the LDS church in Boise, Idaho, in May, and has been staying busy working for Kira and Vance in Salt Lake City, earning enough money to head back up to BYU-I in January for more schooling. She loved her mission, and made life-long friends there that she still keeps in touch with. She is enjoying the snowfalls of Utah, was able to see her grandmother before she passed, and is spending quite a bit of time with her beau, Dillon.
Landon
Landon continues to serve in Mendoza, Argentina, and returns home this coming May. He had the great privilege of serving under his mission president as secretary to the mission, and is now back in the field as Zone Leader. Landon is a great friend, a super brother, and a wonderful son.
