ANYTHING YOU CAN DO, I CAN DO BETTER!

Connie and Peter came to visit for the weekend with the kids. Peter planned on leaving Connie and the kids for a week for some good-old mom and grandma time. Lucky me! So he headed back to Phoenix to work and left them here to relax, play, and get some grandma and grandpa time. Levi and I are busy making each other smile and laugh. He really likes his tougue too! If I had known grandchildren were this much fun, I would have had them first!

SUNNY SAN DIEGO

Kevin and I took off to San Diego with another couple this last week for county fair business. The weather was perfect, (no rain as predicted), good food, and a trip up the coast to Carlsbad to see mom and dad and most of my family for a lunch at Chins. That would have been the most important picture to take, but of course I was too busy catching up and having fun to even remember that I could have taken a few pictures. Duh! Now I could kick myself in the pants. Oh well, we were also able to see Kevin's "mission mom" Pat Cavallin, who lives about 10 minutes from where we stayed. She has been a true friend for many years. So even though I really just went along for the "ride", it was a great time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR AT THE CABIN

Playing and watching games
, After we got back from Arizona, we wanted to take the kids up to the cabin in Panguich Lake to spend some time in the snow. It was beautiful up there, very cold, but lots of fun to just relax, play games, watch games, and play in the snow. Next time we go we will teach the kids how to ski!

CHRISTMAS IN PHOENIX

After opening our presents here in Logandale, we packed up and hopped in the car and headed to Phoenix to go see the kids and grandkids for a few days. As soon as we got there, we had our gift exchange, which we always look forward to. It was especially fun to watch the grandkids with their new toys from grandpa and grandma.

GO COUGARS!!

Landon and LaVell Edwards in the snack line at the game. How providencial! He even signed Landon's cap.
Kevin and Aaron Attig (plays on the special teams.) Former Moapa Valley player.
Manase Tonga and two of the cheerleaders (not much taller than Landon!)
Landon with Harvey Unga and his father and family. All of the players were good to spend time with the fans.
One of the only presents Kevin wanted for Christmas was to go to the BYU bowl game. For some reason, we had thought that the game was on Thursday, the 20th. Tibi and Landon's band concert happened to be on that same night, so I told Kevin that he and Landon couldn't go to the game. It wasn't until a friend from Utah called and said that he and his son were coming down for the game on Saturday, the 22nd, and they had two extra tickets. CHA-CHING! So it DID work out that Kevin and Landon could go. Kevin kept it a surprise until that morning. Landon was pretty happy!
