Growing Up

Every one seems to be growing up around here. The chickens, the babies, MOM. Well, the chickens can grow all they want to, the kids....I expect that of THEM, but mom can slow down just a little bit on the growing thing. Today is my birthday, another year older, not bad...just another year older. The good thing about being 51 is that you have a lot of things to show for it. Other than that, I'm looking at it as just another day. You know, laundry, dinner, the regular stuff. I did get to go to Quilting Day with the Relief Society women to start my new quilt this morning. Other than that, I taught my three piano lessons, visited a ward's Enrichment Night, and got to bed late. Oh well, tomorrow is another day...
(Not good for trying to get my weight down. Thanks Gregg!) He doesn't know how to buy 1 pounders...

I miss the babies so much...mom I would have called but talked to you for a long time yesterday. You (not a phone person) don't need my rambling 2 days in a row so happy birthday today. I did think of you today and somehow knew you'd have a pretty normal day. ha ha

Happy Birthday, Mom! Make those See's last- unlike me, who would eat the whole box in two days!

Happy Birthday! You're kidding with the 51, right? You don't look a day over 25!

Hope you had the best birthday ever - Did your hubby spoil you? You can just pass those See's right along to me if you're wanting to watch your waistline THAT much. I'll take them right off your hands.

Happy birthday mom (late). I did think of you....and wondered if you let Dad get you another gift. The babies are getting so old. I was just telling someone a story about them- how it was so fun being old enough to "fight over the babies"...you know, like in church and stuff. And how i used to slow dance Tibi to sleep to those lame Romantic Strings cassette tapes....and Lando was such a chub!
