It was a day of homemade bread and a yummy pot of homemade chicken noodle soup. We've waited all summer to have a dinner like this!

FINALLY!!
It is October 4th, and it is finally cooling off. We got dumped on today. Not quite sure which way it was coming from. At times it was heading in from the north, then later it was coming from California. Actually, I don't care where it comes from, as long as it comes - and come it did! All day! What a great day it has been...

We ended up getting some rain but our monsoon seasons have been crappy the last few years and we never get as much rain as NV anymore. Lucky you guys. The only thing we'll get out of our half rainy day is a bunch of humidity tomorrow! I wish it would storm and downpour like NV! Happy for you guys though!
hahahaha....we had rain all day yesterday and we decided to have homemade rolls and homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner. I guess rain and cooler weather just brings out that good ol' home cooked feeling.
Spoke too soon, we got our rain mostly today after a bit yesterday. It has been on and off today but when it comes, it comes. We got hail the size of small ice cubes, it was banging on our window. It was loud!
